Does the eye shadow in my outer corner have to be V-shaped?

I’ve seen people in makeup tutorials make all kinds of outer corner shapes. Is it okay for it to not be V-shaped, and if so, what are some different ways of doing it?

No, do whatever shape you like. The “v-shape” is usually best when doing crease work though.

I will sometimes just sweep mine up toward my outer brow, or make it rounded, or sometimes I’ll even make it slightly squared off.

I have fair skin, dark brown hair, green eyes (with a very little bit of brown in them, so maybe they’d be hazel?). Anyway, my prom dress is teal and black, and I got a dark red manicure.
