How to get your ears used to fake earrings?
I got my ears pierced at Claire’s, and of course not with real gold or silver. And my ears were infected for the longest time, during and after. And so I have to buy and wear REAL gold and/or silver earrings. I have friends that have said they had that problem, too, and got their ears used to the fake earrings.
I really don’t like paying $ 60+ for one pair of earrings, though I have two now, I got them during a sale, so those were the only ones I could afford.

just wear them every day, mine r like tht too and if i stop wearing earrings for a while and put some in like a week later my ears get that scabbing feeling and hurt again, and this is after like 12 years of having them pierced, so make sure u wear them every day and maybe clean them with rubbing alcohol every once in a while

Buying earring basically means your buying the kit. I don’t know where you live, but here are the prices… Buying earrings is the kit, it’s not a separate purchase. The prices are the same for white gold and gold. It doesn’t have something for UK, sorry if you live there.

What makes earrings turn black where they’ve been inside your ear?
I don’t mean general tarnishing, I mean the bit that actually sits inside my skin, develops a stain.
It kind of looks like oil spills you used to see on the road, black with a rainbow type sheen.
The same has happened to my nose stud too.
