Is it normal to have this much trouble with high heels?

I know that every girl has problems with their feet hurting because of high heels. For me though, it’s nearly impossible for me to walk in them at all. My whole leg starts hurting, especially the outside of my hips and thighs. I am very turned out with high arches. Am I just genetically dispositioned to not be able to wear them, or am I just doing something horribly wrong?

It takes time to get used to walking in them. Honestly people at my school made fun of my for how I walked in high heels and a couple months later I was walking like a model. Try wearing shorter heels first, maybe like 2 inch heels or at the most 3 inch heels. I walk in 4 inch heels only because I like feeling taller than most boys and I can walk in them with a good stride. With 4 inch heels, I’m 5’11” and I love it
