What is the best way to remove a stubborn toilet ring?
I have a ring around my toilet that I can not seem to get rid of. One member of my family would frequently leave the toilet unflushed (icky I know) and that is what caused the ring. The ring is at the water line of the toilet. To date I have tried lysol toilet cleaner, bar keepers friend, soft scrub with bleach, straight bleach, tilex, and oxy clean bathroom cleaner. I also have scrubbed at it with a small scrub brush. It has lightened a bit but I still feel it is nasty looking and would like the bowl sparkling white. What can I do to remove the ring?
Based on emails, here’s our Top Ten Answers for you:
Hey MessyJessy,
Use straight bleach, let it sit for a few hours. Then try to clean., Then rise. Use that oxy stuff. It will fade a little more everytime you clean.

How do you put a ball in a captive bead ring?
I can get the ball in when the ring is out of my lip (snakebite piercing) but I cant get that thing inside while im wearing the ring. Any tips?
Based on emails, here’s our Top Ten Answers for you:
Hey Jen,
You need a pair of peircing tines, or jewelers pliers. what you want to do is crimp the ring down pretty tight outside of your lip, then when you put the bead in, use the pliers to strech the ring just enough to get the bead in. Crimping rings down while in the body can lead to massive problems.

What is the average price for a one-karat engagement ring?
So Im planning on shopping around for an engagement ring, and I was wondering what to expect as far as prices go. Im nervous about buying a ring because I dont want to get ripped off or anything, and want to get what Im paying for. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hey bigbadbob113,
There is a big difference in price depending on the cut, clarity, etc. of the diamond.
Personally I think it is crazy to spend so much on a ring, I would rather put the money into a house.
Congratulations on your engagement. May you two have a long and happy life.

How do I switch a diamond from an old wedding ring to a new platinum band?
My girlfriend is going to use her grandma’s ring when we get married (Asking soon), but she doesn’t like the band and wants to put her grandma’s diamond on to a new band. How difficult is this process and does anyone know if Tiffany’s and/or Harry Winston will allow for this?

Hey BeaverNation1981,
They should, but if they don’t do this type of work and only sell pieces that are already made up, ask for a reference to a good goldsmith who does this kind of work.

How to Make an Origami Dollar Ring (Moneygami)
Explains how to make an Origami ring from a dollar bill. I do recommend that you use a simple bill because I think it fits the nicest. However, any other American bills will work, yet larger bill numbers for , , , or 0 usually get cut off from the top portion of the ring. I am aware that I have viewers from other countries who may not have American bills handy, so I quickly explain a way you can make this using regular printer paper. I give the dimensions: Length: 15.5 cm Width: 6 cm Also, HERE are the measurements for where you should make the folds on a piece of PAPER. ALL measurements are from the very LEFT side of the paper and indicate where to fold as instructed in the video. NOTE THAT THESE MEASUREMENTS MAY NOT FIT YOU OR WORK PERFECTLY** Please experiment with your paper, this is only to get a general idea. First fold (left “border” of 1) – 0.25″ or about 7mm Second fold (right “border” of 1) – about 1″ or 2.5 cm Third (between O and F) – 3.75″ or 9.5 cm – remember this is where the BOTTOM edge of the paper should be as demonstrated in the video* Thanks for watching and be sure to comment, rate, and subscribe to my videos!
