I have a white gold ring that is only 3 1/2 months old. I want to sell in on Craigslist, but I also want to clean it up before I sell it. There are little scratches on the bottom where my hand would touch things. Is there any special cleaner or tricks I could use to get them off or cover them up?

If he got it at a jewelry store, most of the time they’ll resize the ring for free the first time. So I would first try at the jewelry store where he bought it. If he didn’t buy it from a jeweler, then take it to a reputable jeweler who also does repairs. It shouldn’t be too much to resize it, I think I’ve had it done to a ring or 2, and I can’t think it was more than $ 20. Probably less.

How long will it take a belly button ring to heal?
I had a belly button ring for about a year, but i then had to take it out because of an infection.
I really liked it and want to get it re-pierced asap. Its been out about a month and a half. It looks like its healed with only a very very small mark showing it was ever there. I want to make sure it has healed before i pierce it again, so anyone know how long it will take to heal?

i’v had my belly button pierced for about 2 years now with no infections or any problems. if you clean it daily you shouldn’t have any problems. the best thing to use to clean it with is the h20 stuff. but sometimes your body will reject a piercing and it will never heal. for instance i can’t have any cartilage on my body pierced. every time i get a Cartilage piercing (nose, ears) my body rejects it. i would say give it another month just to make sure it’s properly healed. if you thinks it’s healed then i would go to a professional and try to get it repierced. they’ll always be able to tell if it’s ready or not.
