I suggest threading the necklaces through a paper towel tube and hooking the clasps. Cut it a little shorter if it is too long. (the tube-not the necklace!) For extra protection, wrap the whole thing in tissue paper or even better-a bit of bubble wrap with a piece of tape to hold it closed around the tube.
