What do all the different earrings look like?

I just got my ear lobes pierced 3 days ago and i was reading the paper they gave me and it said i have to wear post earrings for 6 months after your ears are pierced but i dont know what all the different types of earrings are.

What are these kind of earrings for guys called?

They are like a hoop, but no bottom part. Instead of being a full hoop they have either little balls or points on each end. I can’t find them anywhere. Thanks!

Do you know anywhere I can get them where they aren’t gauges, but look like that? I’m piercing my little brothers ear and he wants something like that, but he’s only 10 so were not ready for gauges yet(;

Is it okay to take earrings in and out everyday if my ears are tender?

I got my ears pierced 6 weeks ago, and I just changed them out of my piercing earring. The new earrings are gold, so I’m not allergic. The thing is my ears still hurt and bleed a little. Is it okay to take the earrings out everyday and clean my ear and earring? Also, is the pain and bleeding normal after the 4-6 week period?

I would find a comfortable pair and just leave them in, at least until they are completely healed. Don’t tale them in and out, it will only make matters worse, and possibly introduce infection. They could be painful for a long time, especially if you are taking them in and out. I got the top of my ear pierced, and it didn’t heal for alittle over a year. It okay everyone is different. Good luck on this new adveture.
