If you are young (30 or younger) than i would go for shimmer or matte, but if you are older (30 and higher) i wouldnt get shimmers but id go for matte.. matte means its just plain color with no shimmers and shimmer means its sparkly. I would go for the matte because you can add glitter by putting glitter on your lids and using matte eyeshadow to make shimmery eyeshadow, but on the shimmer eyeshadow you cant take the shimmers out.

what is the best eye shadow color that goes with pink lip color?
I have a medium skin tone almost like Freida Pinot’s. I love hot pink not the pale one I am not sure about the color of eye shadow and shall I countour my lips with a lip liner

at first when i saw this question, i thought u mite ask about natural
makeup, so i clicked it, cuz im really good at that. im dpnt really have any wild shades, but i know what u can do. go on youtube.com, and type in julieg713. she doea these really great videos that are really amazing. she also does nail tutorials, and u can see her great eye makeup in those too. oh, and i suggest useing hard candy which u can get at walmart, the shades and stuff r really cool and wacky kinda.

I like black liquid eyeliner on the top only!
Lots of mascara looks great with eyeliner!
Pale complection would look great with neutral lips so brush on some light pink blush on your lips! (sounds gross but its looks amazing compared to foundation/concealer on lips)
Try a soft rosey blush on your cheeks also! It will make you glow and look alive!
And a creamy shinny white eyeshadow!!
