Im getting ready to buy my 3rd digital camera… but i seem to be a bit mor picky with this one… I want a camera that is about or more 8 megapixels, high resolution, video mode, zoom lens, and i want to be able to see what i am taking a picture of at night through the screen… and on top of that i would love it if it were touchscreen… can anyone help me by letting me know what cameras can possibly have all of these features.. thanks!

That camera is no longer in production is it? It is a decent enough camera, a little older on the technology side. Only has 4 megapixels, but there is nothing really wrong with that if you are not planning on doing very large prints.

What digital camera can I buy that is really good?
I don’t want to spend more than $ 300 on it I want super clear pics. I have a kodak easy share now and I hate it. It sucks.

i have that camera. i got it liek in october. i still think it’s great. it’s nice and cheap too. i got it for about liek $ 125. it’s really good i thought, cuz it recognizes faces, and you could stitch which is really good too.
i think that one was really good. but ur choice. i;’d say then get the Sony Cybershot. thats realllY good too!

What is a consumer grade camera and is a digital camera considered one?
I am going to a concert and they said consumer grade cameras were allowed but I am not quite sure what that is. Can someone please help?

NO dSLR’s will be allowed in. They are the ones with interchangeable lenses and sensors that are over 15 times larger than P&S cameras

Should I invest in the latest digital camera, or a film camera?

I’ve been told that film cameras are better quality than that of digital cameras.. can anyone inform me a bit more on this? Hey friendly neighborhood mara-man,
If you are only going on what you hear, you need to slow down before you start spending any large money.
First take a class in photography and use a nice used Nikon or Canon 35 mm SLR with standard zoom lens … under $ 200 … then after you learn how to use the camera and have confidence using the camera then start looking for a good DSLR.
At this time, the Nikon D40 with 18-55 mm lens for under $ 450 opens the possibility for you to buy some additional lenses with your budget. Like the 55-200 mm VR and 12-24 mm super wide angle lens.
