Is si2 clarity good enough for a diamond ring if I want to go bigger on size?
I’m looking at a diamond that is certified by the egl, and it is of s12 clarity. After doing some research, I read that s12 clarity and above has no inclusions visible to the naked eye, so it shouldn’t matter whether or not I get a si2, si1, or even vvs, right?

It depends how big you go. If you compared it to another, more clear, diamond, you would probably notice a difference in how sparkly it seems. Especially if you get anything other than a brilliant cut, which maximizes “sparkliness”. My ring is an VVS2, and when I was shopping for wedding bands I noticed a difference in how sparkly an SI2 diamond looked compared to mine.
I would say that color is more important for being obviously visible to the naked eye, though, especially the bigger you go.

How much would 1/10th a carat diamond ring go for at a pawn shop?

We are selling my mother’s old engagement ring. A valuation carried out yesterday for insurances purposes only by an authorised gemstone accreditor valued it at £12,000.
If we are to sell the ring privately, what is a general percentage of the insurance value that we should price the ring at in order to sell privately?
Does anyone have any ideas on the best place to advertise such an item? More importantly, is Ebay a safe place for items of this nature?
