My RF modulator just died. I plan on getting another soon. Is there any way that I can hookup the DVD player through the VCR. I have read that VCRs have built in modulators. Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to connect them.

My wife actually has an old piece of junk TV and we had to do the same thing. First, have the VCR out through the coax to the coax in on the TV. Then connect your RCA cables (white and red) from the out on the DVD to the in on the VCR. Then you would hit play on the DVD player and turn on the VCR as well. You should have an AUX IMPUT on the VCR remote, when you hit that you will be able to watch what is playing on the DVD player. Of course you would have to leave the VCR on and have your TV to channel 3. Hope this helped.

How do I install a dvd player on my laptop?
I bought and downloaded a dvd decoder for my laptop. I have windows xp professional (it is my work computer) and when I tried to install it nothing happened. A screen came up that looked like it was installing, however it then went away and I still cannot play movies on here. It is sonic cine player. Any ideas on how to get this to work especially since I already paid for it?

How do I connect my dvd player using composite jacks to a plasma tv with only component jacks?
All of the composite jacks (audio r-l + video) on my TV are all being used by other devices. All I have left are component jacks (Y/Pb/Pr). Can I somehow connect it using my audio/video cables?

Thanks so far for the answers. I would like to add that I do have component jacks on my DVD player, however, I was trying to avoid having to purchase any additional cables, as I don’t even know what to buy. I just thought I could use my existing A/V cables to run to my TV component jacks from the composite jacks from my DVD player. Is it even possible to use A/V cables from DVD component jacks to TV component jacks? Thanks!

Hey LEM,
Your DVD Player should have either Component, Composite, DVI, or HDMI outputs. If all you have is Composite you might have to disconnect something or buy a high quality DVD player. If you have an A/V Receiver that has Up Conversion you can hook it up to the receiver and then connect the component from the receiver to the Plasma. This also means you will have to always have your receiver on to watch a DVD.

This is one of my favorite songs of this duo. They had executed this romantic but sad song excellently! I actually cried watching this from PBN 100 dvd. I have to say this was one of the best performances throughout the entire DVD (besides Bao Han’s “My Shining Star” and Minh Tuyet and Nhu Quynh’s “Mo Mot Tinh Yeu”). I dearly love this song, and I hope you all love this song as much as the video too. I worked really heard on it, enjoy!
