What is the best digital camera/lens for long distances?
I have a Nikon D40 and it does really well, but I am not sure what kind of lens to get for it, and I want one that can capture long distances. Or are there better cameras out there?

There are much better cameras out there but the D40 will be fine. Depending on what your budget is there are a bunch of available lenses. Below are some links to good telephoto lenses for Nikon. The 55-200 and 70-300 are very popular sizes. Keep in mind that your camera will only focus with AFs lenses. The AF lenses will mount but you would have to focus manually. See the special note in red next to the lenses. It will tell you whether or not they will work.

What is the best digital camera for making youtube videos?
Hi, I was wondering what is the best regular digital camera (not camcorder…I already have one.) to make good quality videos for youtube?
Also, I have an editing program (Video Explosion Deluxe) and every time I make a video on my Canon Powershot A85, it makes the quality even WORSE once I get it on youtube. (So bad that it’s not even worth watching.)

The S5 IS is known for good video quality. Unlike most point-and-shoot cameras, you can actually zoom while recording your video. It also has a dedicated video recording button, so with the touch of one button, you’re recording right away. Also, the S5 has stereo microphones, but that doesn’t really matter for YouTube since I think all their videos are monotone.

I personally love the Kodak Easy Share line, they have them starting at 99$ and going up to around 500…..they are very light weight, but most of all they are not very high tech. They are super easy to use. I would recommend them to anyone for any occasion! The pictures always come out looking professional. I have had mine going on 4 years and it’s still going strong! They have very neat functions but are easy to use!
