can i sports bra be worn as a swim suit?

so i joined the ymca and i want to go swimming except i dont have any one piece swim suits and dont feel like buying one. all my bikinis have no support when i go fast in the water. can i wear a spandex sports bra? and also do ppl wear two pieces in the pool. i understand it isnt a fashion show and its for ppl who want to excersice so i dont want to be the obnoxious skank.

You need a proper swimsuit. Underwear is NOT made for swimming, and will very obviously just be underwear, and will probably show everything you don’t want shown. It also stretches out of shape. Get a swimsuit! They don’t have to be all that expensive, either. Go to a good sporting goods store and buy a tank suit! Sheesh!
