Can I try a swim suit on with my period?

I have my period, and were going to hawaii in 10 days =D
This weekend I have to go and try on some swim suits…
it will be my 3rd or 4th day.
Will I be able to try on swim suits with my period? The swim suit will only be on me for about 5 minutes, but I don’t wanna get blood on the swim suit! And no, tampons are not an option…

Should I wear something over a halter top swim suit?

I recently bought a halter top swim suit and wondered if it was necessary to wear something over it because it is somewhat revealing. It depends on the stroke. For example, you wouldn’t want something covering your knees doing breast-stroke (because of stretch and drag). Body-suits are good because they are slicker than skin. The best one to date is the Speedo LZR Racer. However, any tight suit works well, as you can see from the range presented in swimming competitions. However, I think Speedos work better for training because it increases your feel of the water.

Is there something wrong with wearing panties under a swim suit?

I am pretty sensitive of wearing clingy stuff in public but had to take swimming classes (necessary for my job). An official at the pool (not my coach) called me and told me i wasn’t allowed to wear panties underneath my swimsuit. My swimsuit is multicolored and the panties are rather seamless.
I was really embarassed because it was obvious he had been devouring me with his eyes — how else could he tell? I saw no written documentation and my coach chose to be neutral. i intend to take it up but i need to be sure that the guy has no case

I dont see a reason why you arent ALLOWED to, but i would think a swimsuit without panties underneath would be less clingy than wet panties that majorly cling when wet.
