this is a dvd file already. the problem is, if it’s a movie that is copy righted, you can’t really do this because you have to code or recode it, you can’t simply burn or copy it.

Do you know if they make a DVD player that will play a Windows Media Video that is on a CD?

I am looking at a household dvd player that will play a CD that has a WMV file on it. Do you all know where i can find one, i dont think they exist but a co-worker says they do. I honestly think you have to convert the file, but he says no… Any help would be appreciated.

I rent from Netflix and this weekend I played a dvd and it kept stopping in the middle of watching it.

If your player is actually broken, not much can be done except replace it.

But try this for trouble shooting, unplug your dvd player for 30 seconds. That might clear its memory and allow for other DVD’s to play again.

We are going to be flying to Europe from the US in November with our son. It’s his first time flying and he is very excited about it. We are thinking of bringing a portable DVD player for him to watch movies on (or would my husband’s iTouch be better to take for watching movies)?
