Simple homemade chap stick or lip balm?
I’m looking for a very simple homemade chap stick or lip balm but I can’t seem to find any thing on the web that I want to try. What I’m looking for is something easy and that I can buy everything I need at the grocery store, I don’t want to have to go to a special store for something I’ll never use again. Plus I don’t want to use beeswax at all, cocoa butter or oil sounds nice and I think I can find that at the store but then they tell you to add things i cant even say out loud to a normal person, lol….so please help me find a good site for some really great lip balms?! Also, I live in the US if that helps…….Thanks!

The best chap stick or lip balm out there?
Well, I’ve got a very bad problem with chapped lips. I definitely needed to heal them, so I started using Vaseline Lip Therapy, and it seemed to do the trick just fine! My lips became much better, and were great once I put it on. Only problem though is that over time once it dried off, my lips started peeling again and I had to re-apply it over and over again. I’m seriously tiredd of doing it…and I’m going to run out soon. (And I’m not saying this product sucks, it’s just that I don’t like the fact that once it dries out it makes my lips peel. I don’t want to constantly re-apply it) So instead of buying Lip Therapy again, does anyone have some good recommendations for chap stick? Or Lip Balm? Uh, not sure what’s the difference heheh.
And as always, help will be appreciated.

Okay well hello everybody this is not really a question but its more like me helping you, so i am gonna share a chap stick and a lip gloss recipe! so here it is below
Lip gloss
You need:
a little bit of vaseline
Blush (the blush will make the color of the lip gloss)
HOW TO MAKE
put a little bit of vaseline on a plate then mix the blush into the vaseline! All done enjoy your new lip gloss
CHAP STICK
•4 large-sized vitamin E capsules
•1/4 cup beeswax flakes or pellets
•1 cup extra virgin olive oil
HOW TO MAKE
Place all ingredients in heat-safe measuring cup or bowl and place in double boiler, or a medium saucepan of water over low heat. Allow hot water to melt ingredients, but prevent from boiling. When all solids have melted, remove from heat and stir until well combined. Pour into chap stick tubes or lip balm jars and allow to cool completely, uncovered, before sealing or using.
