How to clean sticky digital camera lens?
So someone I know accidentally knocked some Coke onto my Nikon L2 last thanksgiving and as such left me with a sticky lens and shutter doors. There is a faint spot in the lcd but other than that everything seems to work fine. Would I ruin the lens if I cleaned it with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol or do you have any suggestions on what to clean the sticky shutter doors with?

I think you’re on the right track.
Instead of rubbing alcohol, however, I’d recommend you use a camera lens cleaner. You’re likely to get some solution on the surface of the lens, and while rubbing alcohol probably would not hurt it, you can be certain that lens cleaning solution most definitely will not cause damage.
Lens coatings can be fragile things … best to be safe, in my opinion.

Hi! I’ll be studying for a semester in Ireland and want a good camera to take with me. All the cameras I’ve had so far have had crappy picture quality, especially in low light. I purchased the Sony Cybershot H70 yesterday expecting it to be better, but it just feels the same.
