They will be set up most efficiently without the overhead cost of a large Jared’s jewelers. I’ve found that the more intricate the design you’d like to have done, the higher the cost can be. Some jewelers will allow you to use scrap gold as part of your method of payment, thus bringing your cost down.

How to hold a differential in place while unbolting ring?

I got a ford 8.8 rear end out of a 98 explorer and I’m changing the ring and pinion gears on it, what is the best way to hold the differential in place while i unbolt the ring-gear bolts? Thanks
For the time being i’m simply disassembling the rear end, most is already apart because it got shortened and the brackets got welded to it. I dont plan to do the actual install/assembly myself
