How do you make your mascara stay on longer in water?

im going to the lake this weekend. and we are going to take tons of pictures so i would like to wear my makeup. but does anyone have tips on how to make it last in the water all day? cuz we are going to be swimming, tubing, and jet skiing. any tips?
i have used waterproof before but it always seems to run anyways. is there a brand that has a really good waterproof mascara?

yep, this one lasts for a friggin long time and its really almost impossible to remove…its called covergirl marathon…i warm you though, its a real pain to remove…but it really is pretty darn waterproof. ive gone swimming this summer and spring with this mascara on.
