Mascara that does not leave a dark ring on bottom eyelids?

I have naturally low-leveled lashes and I stopped wearing mascara several years ago because no matter which brand I get, it smudges onto my bottom eyelids and makes a dark ring that looks awful! The only brand that was alright was by Kiss Me, but those are not readily available in drug stores.

I would like to start wearing light eye makeup again as I’ve gotten back into working retail. Can anyone recommend a common brand mascara that is natural-looking, and won’t smudge on bottom lid?
