What can I do to help my eye-shadow stop fading?

I bought some make-up from wal-mart in the year of 2007. I’ve been using it for a while, but I’ve noticed that it has started to fade in an hour of putting it on. What can I do to stop it?

or you could use your eye concealer as a primer thats what i do. make sure you use your ring finger to pat on concealer.

Where can I find some transparent/Opaque eye shadow with speckles of glitter?

I dont want it to look overboard, just a light, glittery sheen. Does anyone have a product that they have been using that works for them?

Can I use white eyeliner, concealer, and a little bit of lotion to make an eye shadow primer?

I’ve been using these ingredients because I’ve been questionable about buying eye primer. Will these make good alternatives? Should I use more or less of the ingredients that I listed above?

white eyeliner and concealer work fine…not great but fine.
lotion DOES NOT help especially if you have oily skin…i tried one of those recipes with foundation +lotion+concealer….i ended up throwing it out :/ TOTAL waste of my foundation.

a good eyeshadow that works as a primer is Rimmel cool touch shadow (try to get a shade close to your skin tone) it is SO cheap!! it is basically a shimmery creamy eyeshadow but that stuff dries SUPER FAST!! i used them on my lids today and it dried on my lids LITERALLY SECONDS after i put it on…and its creaseless, so using it as a base will help eyeshadow stay on longer.

also you can get these gel eyeliners. they come in little pots and they’re usually black but you can get other colours as well like peach/white/silver…especially on sites like ebay where they’re literally about £1.99 or less and they’re usually waterproof and oil proof. yes its an eyeliner but a lot of people also use them (lighter colours..not black) as primers seeing as a lot of them are waterproof and some are also oil-proof so i see how it would work.

but overall i think urban decay primer potion is the best primer i’ve used….i hate the packaging because you do not get your money’s worth but its the only thing that works for me.
