Where can I find good quality earrings that won’t turn my ears green?

I’m looking for some earrings for my mother in law. I need them asap. All I know is she wants something nice, preferably studs. And she has had a problem with most earrings turning her ears green. I’m aware many people have nickel allergies so I should avoid any that contain nickel, but what kind of earrings are safe? Should I look for platinum, silver (sterling silver [whats the diff]), gold, white gold? Please help.

Would it be acceptable to have earrings as a male elementary school teacher?

I am currently a college student working toward his undergraduate degree in elementary/special education. I have been wondering if potential employers would turn me down because of my earrings (2 holes in left earlobe, one in right earlobe, along with my right cartilage). They aren’t gauged. I normally wear small diamond studs in my ears and a hoop in my cartilage. Would it be okay if I keep them in during an interview or even when I am potentially employed?

What is the next size for earrings after the standard size you first get?

I have had my ears peirced just about all my life.. and i havent worn earrings in a long while but want to start wearing them again. (they havent closed since i had worn them for such a long time) i want to get up to atleast a 10-14 gage.so i am wondering what is the next size from a standered normal earring? (to like help get to the 10-gage or somewhere near it)

to start i’d go NO bigger than a 14… it’s going to hurt like a mf. especially since you haven’t had earrings in for awhile.

Id probably start with the 16. try putting some Vaseline on them before trying to put them in.
