I want a good digital camera that has a really short delay time between the time you press the shutter button and when you take the picture? I’m talking 2 seconds or less? By the time I take the picture of a person on my current camera, they have already moved.
I prefer Canon, but another one might do. I want to spend less than $ 200 dollars.

DSLR ones (with interchangeable lenses) are usually a tiny fraction of a second to complete an image. I am not sure how good a one you can get for that $ 200 price.
The compact ones without interchangeable lenses tend to take quite a while to capture an image and those are worthless in trying to get a sports or other live action photo (although you could find a lot of them in that price range).

I have a fuji and its great. It really depends on megapixel size. The more MP’s, the better image resolution. I suggest looking on amazon.com. They have amazing discounts sometimes. I got my $ 400 camera for $ 130, brand new.
