Hey Ammy,
i just came back from camp and we learned how to make these bracelets that are similar to the different kids of friendship bracelets!
its called “Japanese/Chinese string tying/rope making/bracelet”
take a piece of fun foam and form a circle.
cut a cross slit in the middle and 8 pizza slices that go from the edge to about the middle (don’t cut all the way across!!)
take 7 strings (floss) that are about an arms legenth (shoulder to hand) and fold in half and make a loop and knot. feed it through the middle of the fun foam and place the strings in pairs (with the same colors) in the slits.
find the part that has two slices together (no string) and start counting 3. take the third string and place it in the open spot. look at the empty slot and count 3 and continue.
remember to pull down on the looped knot in the bottom of the fun foam.
when your done make a giant knot that’s big enough to close the looped end around your wrist.
have fun! this is great! fun! and easy!
i can now make many friendship bracelets for all my friends <3

How do you call those side bracelets? I tried to google bangle bracelets but those weren’t exactly the ones I was looking for. Lauren Conrad wears them often.
