My eyes are such a light brown they’re nearly hazel. Which eye shadow colors would work for me?
They’re a light coffer color and look green in some lights. What shall I do?

Hey Lihua Emily,
Neutral shades like brown will look beautiful. You can keep them simple and light for daytime wear or you can make them dark and dramatic for a nice smokey eye. If you want something different, greens would work as well (I would go for greens with more yellow/gold and less blue). Gold is something else that would look nice, and if you don’t want to be too flashy you can use something subtle to highlight your eyes rather than covering the whole lid.

What’s up with eye shadow applicators and brushes?
I use applicators personally because I don’t have only to spend 50 dollars on a nice set of brushes.
But really I do not see the difference between 90cent applicators compared to expensive brush sets.

How can i keep my eye shadow and foundation on longer?
In the morning when i first put on my makeup, it looks good. But by the time its lunch my makeup looks like crap! any tips on how i can make it look like it did in the morning without having the bring it all to school?? i dont wear foundation primer which might be the case, but i have oily skin so if you know of any face primers that are non-oily and prevent breakouts that would be wonderful!! thanks so much!!

I suggest a primer.. a face primer will work great.. im not sure of any primer i can list you right now because i dont usually use fondation but im sure wen you go to a cosmetics store or something they will help you.. also a good eyeshadow primer is by faces or urban decay or even e.l.f (eyeslipsface.com) e.l.f products r only a dollar but work great

I don’t know what color eye shadow’s I should be wearing. I have a medium skin tone with green eyes and my natural hair is a dark blond/light brown. It is died a dark brown with blond high lights. I have a meeting and plan on doing a white top and black pants and want to do my make up right.
