Lip stick confusion-give me a hand?

Ok i posted one like this but i didn’t get the answer i was looking for. i guess there was a miss understanding. so round 2.
there are lipsticks that i’m lookng at and they are really nice but they’re saying people with warm, golden, pale, or dark skin toned would look great with it. I can’t tell if my skin is golden or warm. i don’t know the difference either so coud you help me with the two different ones and also maybe match a celebrity to help me compare the two? thanks.

i usually use lip gloss but i want to use lip stick,but i’m confused about wat colors to get in the lip stick?

cuz the colors look different and dont know wat’ll look right.i usually use peach delight in lip gloss so what would be the best range of colors to stick to in lip stick
i have green eyes,freckles *ugh!*,not dark but not snow white skincan anybody help me about a couple specific shade??THX!

there are a lot of great shades out there, but the best is what suits your complexion. not everybody can pull off “tangerine” or “hot pink” or “fire-engine red”….. A LOT of people THINK they can…… *thinks* but no…. no no no no no no, they seriouisly cant… like, they should take those colours and chuck them into the fire never to even mention having bought or wore them…. again…..EVER….. TO ANYONE. lol

seriously it depends…. if you usually wear peach, go with light colours (soft) pastels perhpas…. but …. i dont know what you look like so they may not work for you.
i’ve an olive complexion…. dark brown eyes; i wear natural and earth tones (browns etc) for lipstic…. like almay makes a good one “natural” #130 and “flutter” #200 also ‘pink nude’ #120, (which IS on the light pink side, but for some reason looks good on me when i wear a lighter coloured eye shadow. L’oreal has ‘carmel latte’ #799 which i love, ‘bronze coin’ # 835 and clinique’s ‘twinkle’ which is also on the rather pink side (but, its the same thing as above, ie., depending on the shadow… and ok… sometimes i blend it with another colour to create my own. *dumb i know* but it looks pretty. L’oreal also used to make these fabulous things called ‘lip duets’ and that was my absolute favourite…. i think the colour was called espresso/cappuccino or something to that effect (all i’ve is a the stump of the pencil left *sighs* they stopped making it.) also, believe it or not maybelline has a ‘sparkling sand’ that looks pretty good too. its glittery! lol.
oh and Ulta makes some fabulous shades… almond shimmer if they still carry it. anyways you could go more expensive…..like este lauder (which is great) but lipsticks come in so many great colours that you really dont have to have every last one be the cost of an arm! seriously. only if you really like the colours….. then spend it; but you should try a lot of different ones.
perhaps go to the mall or whatever and consult with someone there at the beauty-counter thingie (where they sell some of the higher-end brands…) they could help you match great colours for your skin tone.

and…. everyonce in a while, a bright obnoxious colour is fun… but….. *thinks* honestly…. i’m not that adventurous with my face; ( i have a wine coloured one i think ive worn 3 times. it looks okay but, i always feel like i look like a circus clown when i wear it. idk maybe its just me? lol)
but who knows, you may try a ‘hot pink’ and totally love it AND be able to pull it off!? but. … stick with what matches your complexion. your face is the first thing people see, you want to enhance your beauty through the make-up… not paint it for battle!
