Lip gloss, lip stick…?

Hello,
My lips are big enough so that the red lip glosses or sticks makes it look even bigger. But my hair has a very beautiful brown nuance and I have a lot of charateristics that can be harmonically displayed with a little red, as welll.I am really fed up of pink and non-colour lipg glosses. Is there any nuance of red that I can use without making my lips look sooo big? Plese help, if there is nothing I can do, then just tell me, but please set me free from this! I think it depends on a lot of things, but if your basing it purely from skin tone, lighter skin tones suit lighter coloured lipsticks, and darker skin tones suit darker lipsticks.

HOWEVER

it solely depends on what other make up you’re wearing at the same time. If for instance you have lots of make up on your eyes, then you don’t want to go overboard by wearing bright lipstick. For that situation, I would suggest nude lipstick or just a lightly tinted lip gloss. If however you only have a little tiny bit of make up on the eyes, you can then wear brighter lipsticks without looking like a clown.
