Lip Gloss/stick in 9th grade?

ok i’m switching schools this this winter im 14 in 9th grade and i was wondering if i should wear lipgloss? I heard its kinda out. at my old school most people wore eyeliner, mascara and some foundation to cover acne…but lipgloss wasnt that big and no one wore lipstick. I like lipgloss but it always comes off when i tryed wearing it plus i have braces should i jus do without? im in 9th grade
