Digital Camera User Questions
What digital camera do you think is the best?
I need one that doesn’t break easily. The last one I had was a pink (I don’t like the color pink anymore, btw) polaroid digital camera with 3x optical zoom lens. I had to buy two of these cameras because the first one screwed up and so did the second camera, so do not recommend any polaroid brands.
I want a cheap ($ 130-$ 150), awesome camera to buy myself this christmas, so I’d love it if you had one to recommend:).
Thanks for reading!

Hey мcкαεℓα☼,
Your best bet would be to go with a Canon point-and-shoot. From reviews and experience, Canon point-and-shoot cameras are probably the best of this kind out there. They’re compact, cheap, and they usually execute good performance.
For your price range I would go with the Canon Powershot SD1300:
http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-Stabilized-2-7-Inch-Silver/dp/B0035FZJKI/ref=sr_1_3?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1291435388&sr=1-3
It has 12.1 megapixels, 4x zoom, image stabilization, and video recording, all in a small easy-to-use camera for around $ 120.
For any other ideas, just look at the other Canon Powershots. I’m sure they have what you’re looking for.

What digital camera telephoto lens should I upgrade to after a Nikon 18-200mm?
I have a nikon 18-200mm lens, but I want to zoom in much farther, especially to snap shots of animals in the zoo and sports.
What would a good upgrade be? Is the next step having to buy a 400mm or 500mm lens?
I wanted to get a teleconverter, but none are compatible with a Nikon 18-200mm

Hey Cincinnati O,
If you buy a 400mm or 500mm be prepared to spend several thousand dollars for either of them. maybe a 300mm f4 would work for you.

What digital camera printer should i buy?
I have a kodak easy share digital camera. I would like a printer that i can put my memory card in or hook it up directly to my camera. I want a printer that has excellent picture quality. I was wondering if anyone of you have had experience with one that you really liked.

Hey Megan F,
As you have the Kodak easy share camera I would definitely recommend the printer which is designed for the printer (the one where the camera sits on top)
I have had one for about a year now and I cannot fault it at all,
You basically buy a kit which consists of a drum of print and the paper.
the pros are;
the quality is excellent,
The paper that you get in the kit heat lasers the photo and then puts a protective layer making it totally scratch and waterproof.
No worrying about the best paper to buy for best quality because the packs you buy are designed for the best quality.
it is easy to use,
You can print in a several sizes (6 x 4 and smaller)
You are not limited to just photos taken on your camera (as long as you have a card in your camera you can transfer from your PC pictures to the card (or back to the card)
It has automatic red eye change on the printer dock
It is really easy to quickly print pictures (no faffing around with your PC)
You can charge you rechargeable camera batteries by docking the camera in the printer.
The only dis-advantage I can think of is you can only print 6 x 4 prints and smaller – but I use my photos excessively (I scrapbook) and rarely print larger than this.

What digital camera should I ask for Christmas?
I decided this Christmas that I want a new digital camera. Basically, price is not a problem, but I want high quality pictures and possibly movies. I’m looking for a camera that’s relatively small & boxy. Not a big odd shaped camera. If I were to choose a color, it would be black. Now, I know that Canon Rebels take superb quality pictures, but I’m looking for a little digital camera that I can carry around, and isn’t a hassle, like the rebel. So, a digital camera, relatively small, boxy, and black. Any suggestions? 10 points to best answer!

What digital camera drains the least battery power?
I am looking for a new digital camera. My only requirement is that the camera does not kill your batteries so quickly. I have a Samsung 5.0, that stupid camera is terrible. I take like 6 pics, and the batteries are dead. Then I had to recharge them again. I hate walking around with chargers and with 3 pairs of different batteries. And if I use regular batteries, they died even sooner

Hey malk e,
I have a digital rebel XT. It’s an 8mp DSLR. I can take well over 300 shots on one charge and it charges real fast too. The only thing is that I use an external flash, which helps conserve the camera’s battery. The picture quality is excellent though. Very happy with it. Like Dr Sam mentioned. IT’s the LCD viewer people use that drains the batteries too.
