In Diamond rings which of the 4 C’s is most important to you.?
I know they are all equally important. But if you had to chose one that that is less important than the others which would it be. for example would you prefer 1/2 a ct flawless or a 2 ct with very slight included. also cut preferences. Does it have to be a princess cut or would you take a step cut with higher clarity. I’m new to this. And hopefully I’ll only have to do this once. And I want to have some research before a salesman gets to me. I’m saving money to get a great ring. But im not sure $ 5,000 is going to get me good quality in all four C’s. sacrifices must be made. so any help you could give would be appreciated.

He has two degrees, two jobs, a nice car, and a house, so he is financially stable enough for a wedding. I’m just curious. Not getting my hopes up or anything, I just wanted to know if you can give your significant other a diamond ring without it meaning something so important as an engagement?
