I wanted to get a lip ring, but its bad for your teeth so i decided against it, i thought about getting a vertical labret for a while, but decided it wasnt really my style.
But i’ve been told that if you have thicker lips that you can get a ring in it…but i cant seem to find any pictures of what it would look like.

Can a yellow ring around your iris just be genetics?

I’m just curious now

I have blue-green eyes and I’ve also got a yellow ring around the pupil of my eyes, both of them. I’ve been looking up stuff on the internet and apparently you only have them if you have certain diseases or else if you have a deficiency or something like that. But I’ve had the yellow rings around my pupils all my life so is it just genetics or do I have a deficiency or something else?

It can definitely be genetic. This condition is called central heterochromia and can be due to diseases, deficiencies, or genetics. When the condition is genetic, it is most common in lighter colored eyes (ie blue-green eyes).

I have the same condition and I have had it almost whole life. For me, it is genetic. I have blue eyes with a gold band around the iris and the gold/brown band developed when I was under 5. My son is 4 years old and has blue eyes. He is also developing a gold band around his iris as he gets older- just like I did

How do I get the best price for my engagement ring?

I am recently divorced, and am trying to unload my engagement ring. Scott Kay platinum band, 1.24ct round brilliant cut, G, SI1 with ideal dimensions. IGI certified, size 5. I had the ring estimated for resale by a GIA certified gemologist, so I know what it is worth retail, and what I should be able to get for it. What is the best way to go about selling it? E-bay? (I have no seller’s history) Private Buyer? Jeweler? Has anyone else recently sold a stone/ring in the SF bay area and felt they got a good price? Thanks!
