How do you not get mascara on your eyelids?

I’ve tried putting tape on my eyelids but it won’t work and I’ve tried putting paper or something there but my eyes are too twitchy. When I put mascara on I get it on my eyelids an when I wet my finger and try to wipe it away I end up sort of pushing down my freshly curled lashes during the process. Any tips?

The Lash stiletto works good for ppl with long lashes or fake lashes.
If your lashes are not as long and you want to use the stiletto mascara I suggest you invest in some false lashes..
