How do I burn DVD’s from my computer for use in a regular DVD player?
My kids keep trashing my DVD’s!!! They leave them out and they get scratched. I have some of them loaded onto my computer so now how do I get them off there and onto a blank disc so my kids can destroy them instead of the originals? Thanks.
P.S. Don’t bother telling me to keep the kids out of the DVD’s to begin with please.

Imgburn is a free, and very good CD/DVD burning program. If your DVDs are saved with VIDEO_TS folders, Imgburn should record them as proper DVDs. A lot of movies are bigger than 4.7 gigs, so you’ll need 8.5 gig dual-layer blanks. Look for a sale on those at some big box store like Staples, where they should be under two bucks a disk. Make sure your DVD writer is capable of doing dual-layer, and that it has the latest firmware. Verbatim brand dual-layer discs (made in Singapore) are supposed to be the best quality, but I’ve had fine results with other major brands.

Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..
