L.L. Bean has good basic suits. They are expensive, but good quality and pretty modest. Here’s a link, it’s for women’s sizes. My daughter was wearing small women’s sizes at that age.

I also like Landsend. Their suits are a bit expensive too, but modest and well made. The girl’s suits go up to a size 16. And their prices are better. They often have good sales. They’re young looking and modest – not matronly.

I feel that wearing a one-piece swim suit all day, using it as my undergarment is more comfortable. I often wear under my clothing even when I am not swimming just for the comfort of wearing it.
